The Art of Metal Gear Solid to what is probably the single best all around game on the Playstation. Art this good has rarely been seen in game. While not the the main artist of this game, Yoshitaka Amano’s (Final Fantasy Games) influence is seen throughout The Art of Metal Gear Solid. You get all of what looks like sketches, but the incredible detail will blow you away. There is commentary in The Art of Metal Gear Solid and as a bonus it is in ENGLISH!!

The Art of Metal Gear Solid is very heavy stock. Although the cover isn’t as thick as I generally like, there’s a nice plastic protector on top. It is all excellent quality. All of this would get this book a 10, but there is also a special treat, in a Shinkawa and Amano interview! If you’re an artbook collector or just a passing fan, this is one of those must own books!
